His highly original line and fresh, often controversial ideas made him a guru for a generation of cartoonists, including Andrzej Mleczko. For the drawing "Richard IV" he was sentenced in the 1970s, and interned during martial law. The presented drawing is a true piece of Polish culture and journalism history.
