Unique and difficult-to-absorb historical souvenir, being a material testimony to the dark period of German occupation in Poland. A wooden figurine, handmade in Zakopane in the 1940s, is an example of primitive, antisemitic propaganda distributed among tourists and spa visitors in the General Government.

The object, measuring approx. 14 cm, depicts a caricatured Jewish figure with the inscription "Mosiek na przeszkodzie". This type of devotional objects, mass-produced as "souvenirs from Zakopane," served to perpetuate harmful stereotypes and were part of the occupier's widespread propaganda campaign aimed at social exclusion of Jews. The figurine is made of local wood, which gives it a characteristic, raw expression.

In collecting and historical research, such objects have enormous value as documents of the era. They are a painful but important evidence of the mechanisms of social stigmatization and prejudice that accompanied the Holocaust.
