Gypsum Lenin from the PRL era – traces of history, propaganda sculpture
We present an extraordinary object full of the authentic spirit of the era – a gypsum figure of Lenin with visible traces of time. It is not only a decorative element, but above all a distinct relic of the Polish People's Republic, which in its raw form reflects the realities of the past system. Made of white gypsum, probably in the 1950s or 1960s, it was a typical element of equipment in workplaces, schools or state institutions of that time.
The condition of the object is consistent with its age – micro-cracks, dirt and abrasions are visible, which do not diminish its value, but on the contrary – they highlight the history it has undergone. Such artifacts are of great interest among collectors of PRL souvenirs, enthusiasts of modern history, and seekers of original decorations for interiors in industrial or loft style.
