The gold filling of the icon imitates floral motifs, flower buds, probably symbolizing Eden. Creating an icon is a rigorous craft and spiritual process, based on canons. After preparing the board and priming, the artist applies the pattern (podlinnik). Painting is done in layers, from dark to light tones, according to traditional rules of inverted perspective and color symbolism, as well as gilding. Its dimensions are approximately 60 cm by 40 cm.
