Iron Cross First Class with Nut - World War II, Medium Condition, Magnetic

We present an original Iron Cross First Class (Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse) from the World War II period – a decoration that is one of the most recognizable and sought-after military symbols in history. This specimen, made of iron with a black, lacquered frame and a silver-colored border, retains the austere, military character that has attracted collectors of militaria worldwide for years.

The cross is in medium condition, which adds to its authenticity and patina of age. Visible are natural scuffs on the lacquer and signs of wear, which bear witness to its history. A key element is the original nut (so-called "nut" or "screwback"), which was used to attach the decoration to the uniform. The cross is magnetic, which confirms the use of iron in its construction – a characteristic feature of early and authentic specimens.

Dimensions: approx. 44 x 44 mm. Weight: approx. 20 g. Medium condition: missing pin, original nut but with scuffs, traces of corrosion on the iron core (natural for its age). The product is sold as a collector's item intended for museum, educational, or private collection purposes.
