We present an extremely rare and authentic example of a German steel helmet from World War II, belonging to the Organisation Todt (OT). This is a unique item for collectors of Third Reich militaria, preserved in surprisingly good condition – with original paint, original decals, and leather interior equipment.

The helmet, thought to be M34 or M40 models, features the classic, streamlined silhouette typical of German steel combat helmets. On the left side is the original Organisation Todt decal – a paramilitary engineering group responsible for building strategic military facilities, armaments factories, fortifications (like the Atlantic Wall), and road and railway infrastructure. These helmets were used by OT workers and guards, as well as auxiliary and police units.

The condition of the helmet is collector-grade. The original paint shows signs of use, which adds to its authenticity and testifies to its rich history. The leather harness (inner sweatband) along with the original bell (liner) is still flexible and complete, which is rare for such items. The original production decals are legible, which represents great documentary value.
