History and art in one – Poster from the legendary Jewish Theater

The item for sale is an original theatrical poster from the PRL era, originating from the repertoire of the Jewish Theater in Warsaw. This institution, located at Grzybowski Square, was for decades the heart of preserved Yiddish culture in Poland.

The poster comes from the period of the 1960s-1980s, the golden era of the theater, when classics of Jewish literature (Sholem Aleichem, I.L. Peretz) and contemporary dramas were staged.
