We present an authentic dagger of the NSDAP storm troops (Sturmabteilung – SA) from the Third Reich period. It is not only a piece of armament, but above all an important collector's item related to the history of Germany in the 1930s and 1940s.

The blade of the dagger bears original etching with the inscription "ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND" ("Everything for Germany") – this is one of the characteristic mottos used by the SA formations. The manufacturer's signature is also visible, which further confirms the authenticity and origin of the item. There are slight sharpening marks on the blade, which is natural for a specimen used in its time.

The wooden handle has been preserved in good condition, and an enameled SA pin (the so-called "eagle" – unfortunately the eagle is missing from the pommel, which is a common flaw in these specimens) is set into its pommel. The scabbard is passable, and the stop (lock) works properly – the blade extends with a natural, slight resistance, which indicates a good fit of the components. The ball at the fitting bears a slight dent, a sign of use.

We describe the state of preservation as average, but original and complete from the period. The scabbard has been repaired – it bears a secondary painting. The handle has also undergone conservation treatments, done quite well, not affecting the character of the item. The whole is completely original, without any modern alterations.
