Brass pendant Piwnica pod Baranami - Krzysztof Skrzynecki, Pracownia Mistrza Kilińskiego 1980

We present an extremely rare and original brass pendant, hand-cut and etched, from the iconic Pracownia Mistrza Kilińskiego from the 1980s. It depicts Krzysztof Skrzynecki – the legendary founder and director of the famous cabaret Piwnica pod Baranami. On the pendant, the artist is shown in a characteristic gesture, with two rams by his side, which directly references the name and symbolism of the Krakow Piwnica.

The pendant was made using the brass etching technique, which gives it depth and a noble, matte sheen. It is a work signed in the style of Mistrz Kiliński – an artist and craftsman whose creations are today sought-after collector's items, combining elements of folk art, magic, and artistic kitsch from the PRL era.

This is not only jewelry but above all a memento of one of the most important Polish cabaret and artistic stages. Krzysztof Skrzynecki (1937-2018) was an icon of Krakow, and Piwnica pod Baranami was a meeting place for artists, poets, and musicians. Wearing such a pendant is an expression of appreciation for the Polish bohemia and the unique atmosphere of those times.

Condition: Very good, as for an item from the 1980s. Brass with a patina of time, which adds character. Ideal for collectors of Piwnica pod Baranami memorabilia, fans of Mistrz Kiliński's work, and seekers of original jewelry with soul.
