We present an extremely rare and valuable item for military collectors – a military field forge from the period of the Second Polish Republic. This is an authentic, fully preserved piece of military equipment that served sapper and transport subunits of the Polish Army in the 1920s and 1930s.

The field forge was essential equipment for any military unit in the field. It enabled repairs and horse shoeing, as well as minor blacksmith work for transport and equipment. In field conditions, it served as a logistical center, without which the unit's operation was significantly hindered. Models like this were produced in Polish armaments plants, including the State Gunpowder and Explosives Factory and in military workshops.

The presented specimen features a solid steel construction with forged elements. The set includes:

• Hearth with grate and coal/wood chamber


• Blacksmith's bellows (preserved in original condition, requiring possible conservation)


• Steel field anvil attached to the base


• Preserved original fittings, screws, and period connecting elements

The forge bears traces of use and patina of time, which adds to its authenticity and character. It is not only a wonderful museum exhibit but also an excellent element of interior decoration in a military or industrial style, as well as a prop for historical and film reconstructions. Rarely found in such good condition on the collector market – a true treat for enthusiasts of military history and military technology of the Second Polish Republic.
