Gold pocket watch brand Howard made in the USA, with case, dating from 1905. The original company E. Howard & Co. of Boston operated from 1858 to 1902. After 1902, the rights to the name were bought by Keystone Watch Case Co., which produced watches under the name E. Howard Watch Co. until about 1930. This is a watch of the "hunting case" type (with protective lid). The watch is made with attention to detail; on the lid closing the mechanism, a heraldic shield is depicted, surrounded by a gate with a garland motif. The watch has a gold chain.
